Fixing What's Broken

Top one is the one I modified, the bottom one is Luca Serafini's original.

Before I wanted to be anything else, I wanted as a child to be a car designer. I always wanted to work for Lamborghini because they had no rules, the crazier the better. Only a crazy company could come up with something as outrageous and sexy as the Countach. Only a passionate and wild company could name that car after an italian slang profainity. Probably explains my taste in women somewhere in there. I guess I will go back to dating Italian. On to the design...

Italian design student Luca Serafini cranked out this wonderfully crazy concept for the Italian car maker. I felt there are some interesting concepts, but he came out with a bulbous and front heavy ideal. I ran a Spherize filter in Photoshop at -19 and I think it corrects some of the proportions here. There is the start for a nice car in here somewhere. Overall his design, I think looks very much like a reworked Zonda and NSX. Is that a bad thing? Not at all. That's like saying it's a bad thing to date a woman who looks like Elsa Benitez.
